The Borden Braves basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Springs Valley Blackhawks to 48 in the Braves non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Braves now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they host West Washington for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 10. Borden will confront a Senators team coming off a 78-45 league win over Crawford County (Marengo, IN). The Senators record now stands at 12-4.
