Indiana High School Basketball - Cascade holds off Edgewood

February 7, 2026: Clayton, IN 46118

The Cascade Cadets basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Edgewood Mustangs to 51 in the Cadets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cadets now have a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Owen Valley for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 12. Cascade will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Eastern Greene (Bloomfield, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 2-16.

The Mustangs (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN). The Lakers go into the non-league game with a 5-12 record. In their last game, Shakamak nipped Lighthouse Christian Academy (Bloomington, IN), 59-32, in a non-league game.
