Louisiana High School Basketball - Sterlington holds off Carroll
February 8, 2022: Sterlington, LA 71280 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) and the visiting Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA), saw Sterlington's basketball squad hold off Carroll by a tally of 44-41.
With the victory, Sterlington improves its record to 13-14 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Union Parish (Farmerville, LA) to confront the Farmers in a 3A District 2 challenge on Friday, February 11. The Farmers come into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Union Parish lost 57-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Bastrop (Bastrop, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Friday, February 11. Carroll will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 25-5 record after their 66-52 league win over Richwood (Monroe, LA).
