In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hammond Skyhawks (Columbia, SC), by a count of 64-38.

The Cyclones (10-14) will now prepare for their outing against First Baptist School (Charleston, SC). The Hurricanes go into the SCISA AAA Region III outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, First Baptist School smashed Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC), 55-50, in a non-league outing.

The Skyhawks now hold a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Legion Collegiate Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, February 11. Hammond will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 92-63 non-league loss to Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC). The Lancers record now stands at 11-9.
