Texas High School Basketball - King tops Robstown
February 8, 2022: Robstown, TX 78380 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the King Brahmas (Kingsville, TX) and the host Robstown Cottonpickers (Robstown, TX), saw King's basketball squad knock off Robstown by a count of 79-65.
With the victory, King upgrades its record to 14-10 on the campaign. The Brahmas travel to Zapata (Zapata, TX) to play the Hawks in a 4A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, February 11. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-15. Zapata lost 64-60 in their recent league challenge against Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX)
Next up, the Cottonpickers play the Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Friday, February 11. Robstown will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 13-15 record after their 43-31 league win over Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX).
