Delaware High School Basketball - Seaford crushes Sussex Academy
February 8, 2022: Georgetown, DE 19947 Seaford Bluejays (Seaford, DE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE), 65-29 in a league bout.
With the win, Seaford upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Delmar (Delmar, DE) to play the Wildcats in a Henlopen - Southern bout on Thursday, February 10. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Delmar lost 58-49 in their recent league bout against Laurel (Laurel, DE)
Next up, the Seahawks play the Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) in a Henlopen - Southern bout, on Thursday, February 10. Sussex Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 64-48 league loss to Early College (Dover, DE).
