Ohio High School Basketball - West Liberty-Salem can't hold off Urbana
February 8, 2022: Urbana, OH 43078 The Urbana Hillclimbers basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting West Liberty-Salem Tigers to 38 in the Hillclimbers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hillclimbers now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwestern for a Central Buckeye - Mad River game on Friday, February 11. Urbana will face a Warriors team coming off a 51-47 league loss to Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 0-13.
With the defeat, West Liberty-Salem moves to 10-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Northeastern (Springfield, OH) to face the Jets in a Ohio Heritage game on Friday, February 11. The Jets enter the game with a record of 7-13.
