South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Century Knights (Sykesville, MD), 55-49 in a league bout.

With the win, South Carroll upgrades its record to 5-14 on the season. The Cavaliers host Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD) to clash with the Eagles in a Carroll County bout on Friday, February 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Francis Scott Key won 58-42 in their recent non-league bout against Brunswick (Brunswick, MD)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Fallston Cougars (Fallston, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 9. Century will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 59-29 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MD).
