The Independence 76ers basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Hill Falcons to 38 in the 76ers league victory on Tuesday.

The 76ers now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont Hills for a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa East contest on Thursday, February 10. Independence will battle a Pirates team coming off a 44-14 league win over Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 9-7.

The Falcons (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Gunderson (San Jose, CA). The Grizzlies come into the Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa East contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Gunderson was defeated by Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA), 47-33, in a league contest.
