The St. Martinville Tigers basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Kaplan Pirates to 43 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Erath for a 3A District 6 contest on Friday, February 11.

The Pirates (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Crowley (Crowley, LA). The Gent enter the 3A District 6 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Crowley nudged Abbeville (Abbeville, LA), 49-13, in a league contest.
