Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC), 61-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Washington County upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Panthers host Bertie (Windsor, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a bout on Friday, February 11. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Bertie won 68-48 in their recent league bout against Perquimans (Hertford, NC)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) in a bout, on Friday, February 11. Riverside-Martin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 68-48 league loss to Bertie (Windsor, NC).
