The Cornwall Central Dragons basketball team (New Windsor, NY), dropped 70-61 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY)

The Sawyers now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Section 9 Mid Hudson I battle on Friday, February 10. Saugerties will battle a Presidents team coming off a 63-36 league loss to Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Presidents record now stands at 7-4.

The Dragons (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Warriors come into the Section 9 Orange County III battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Minisink Valley dropped by Chester (Chester, NY), 52-41, in a non-league battle.
