New York High School Basketball - Waterville tops Hamilton
February 8, 2023: Waterville, NY 13480 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Waterville Indians (Waterville, NY) and the visiting Hamilton Emerald Knights (Hamilton, NY), saw Waterville's basketball squad knock off Hamilton by a count of 70-52.
With the victory, Waterville upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Clinton (Clinton, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 3 Center State II match on Friday, February 10. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 12-5. Clinton lost 73-62 in their recent league match against Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY)
With the defeat, Hamilton moves to 15-3 on the year. The Emerald knights travel to Remsen (Remsen, NY) to face the Rams in a Section 3 Center State IV match on Friday, February 10. The Rams enter the match with a record of 7-11. Remsen lost 59-49 in their recent non-league match against Stockbridge Valley (Munnsville, NY)
