New York High School Basketball - Heatly holds off Hawthorne Valley

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Heatly Hornets (Troy, NY) and the visiting Hawthorne Valley Wildcats (Ghent, NY), saw Heatly's basketball squad hold off Hawthorne Valley by a tally of 76-71.

With the victory, Heatly improves its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Waterford-Halfmoon (Waterford, NY) to confront the Fordians in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 13. The Fordians come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Waterford-Halfmoon lost 57-40 in their recent league challenge against Saratoga Central Catholic (Saratoga Springs, NY)
