Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV) and the host Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), saw Sage Ridge's basketball squad overcome Hug by a tally of 77-62.

With the victory, Sage Ridge improves its record to 12-12 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV) to confront the Bighorns in a 1A Western challenge on Friday, February 10. The Bighorns come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Oasis Academy lost 51-39 in their recent league challenge against Coleville (Coleville, CA)

Next up, the Hawks confront the North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) in a 3A Northern - West challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Hug will attempt to improve on its 1-22 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 69-60 league win over Sparks (Sparks, NV).
