February 8, 2023: Jay, ME 04239 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) and the visiting Wiscasset Wolverines (Wiscasset, ME), saw Spruce Mountain's basketball squad wallop Wiscasset by a tally of 99-24.
With the victory, Spruce Mountain improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign.
Next up, the Wolverines play the Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Wiscasset will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 55-50 league loss to Temple Academy (Waterville, ME).
