February 8, 2023: Virginia Beach, VA 23454 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Cox Falcons (Virginia Beach, VA) and the visiting Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), saw Cox's basketball squad overcome Hickory by a tally of 43-27.
With the victory, Cox improves its record to 1-19 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA) to confront the Chiefs in a Beach challenge on Friday, February 10. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Kempsville won 55-30 in their recent league challenge against Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA)
Next up, the Hawks confront the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Friday, February 10. Hickory will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 64-51 league loss to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA).
