In Wednesday's league outing, the El Diamante Miners (Visalia, CA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Porterville Panthers (Porterville, CA), by a margin of 61-57.

The Miners (20-4) will now prepare for their outing against Golden West (Visalia, CA). The Trailblazers go into the East Yosemite outing with a 12-14 record. In their last outing, Golden West was tipped by Redwood (Visalia, CA), 51-40, in a league outing.
