Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Winchendon drops to Cushing Academy
February 8, 2023: Winchendon, MA 01475 In Wednesday's league test, the visiting Cushing Academy Penguins ice hockey team scored a tight 7-0 win over the Winchendon Wapiti.
The Penguins (17-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Mark's (Southborough, MA). The Lions enter the test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, St. Mark's was trounced by Brooks (North Andover, MA), 5-4, in a league test.
Next up, the Wapiti encounter the Vermont Academy Wildcats (Saxtons River, VT) in a test, on Friday, February 10. Winchendon will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record.
