Maryland High School Basketball - Great Mills overwhelms Chopticon
February 8, 2023: Morganza, MD 20660 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) and the host Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), saw Great Mills's basketball squad wallop Chopticon by a count of 62-33.
With the victory, Great Mills upgrades its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to North Point (Waldorf, MD) to play the Eagles in a challenge on Friday, February 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Braves play the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. Chopticon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
