Alsea Wolverines (Alsea, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McKenzie Eagles (Finn Rock, OR), 52-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Alsea upgrades its record to 4-19 on the season. The Wolverines host Eddyville (Eddyville, OR) to play the Eagles in a 1A Mountain West bout on Saturday, February 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-15. Eddyville won 55-33 in their recent league bout against Siletz Valley (Siletz, OR)
