Section Lions (Section, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL), 58-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Section upgrades its record to 16-12 on the season.

Next up, the Bison clash with the Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. North Sand Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 14-14 season record.
