Martin County West Mavericks (Sherburn, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cleveland Clippers (Cleveland, MN), 68-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Martin County West upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman (Granada, MN) to play the Jaguars in a A Section 2 bout on Saturday, February 10.
