February 8, 2024: Arlington, VA 22206 In Thursday's league outing, the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) basketball squad edged the host Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA), by a count of 37-35.
The Statesmen (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Patriots go into the District 2 outing with a 7-14 record. In their last outing, Yorktown held off Herndon (Herndon, VA), 38-34, in a league outing.
The Warriors now hold a 2-10 record.
