Wisconsin High School Basketball - St. Thomas More can't hold off Wauwatosa East
February 8, 2024: Milwaukee, WI 53207 The Wauwatosa East Red Raiders basketball team scored 59 points and held the host St. Thomas More Cavaliers to 58 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Allis Hale for a Greater Metro contest on Tuesday, February 13. Wauwatosa East will battle a Huskies team coming off a 65-51 league loss to Wauwatosa West (Wauwatosa, WI). The Huskies record now stands at 5-18.
The Cavaliers (17-7) will now prepare for their contest against Washington/Fuller Collegiate Academy (Milwaukee, WI). The Purgolders enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Washington/Fuller Collegiate Academy was nudged by Meir (Milwaukee, WI), 50-42, in a league contest.
