Wisconsin High School Basketball - St. Thomas More crushes South Milwaukee
January 10, 2024: Milwaukee, WI 53207 St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Milwaukee, WI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Milwaukee Rockets (South Milwaukee, WI), 61-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Thomas More upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to St. Joseph (Kenosha, WI) to clash with the Lancers in a Metro Classic bout on Friday, January 12. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 7-5. St. Joseph lost 68-25 in their recent league bout against Dominican (Whitefish Bay, WI)
Next up, the Rockets clash with the Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks (Greenfield, WI) in a Woodland - East bout, on Friday, January 12. South Milwaukee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Hustlin' Hawks go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 66-31 non-league loss to Pius XI Catholic (Milwaukee, WI).
