Georgia High School Soccer - Sumter County knocks off Grace Christian Academy
February 8, 2024: Americus, GA 31709 Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Grace Christian Academy Cougars (Bainbridge, GA), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Warner Robins Demons (Warner Robins, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Sumter County will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Demons enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Dodge County (Eastman, GA).
The Cougars now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Georgia Christian for a GIAA AA District 3 challenge on Friday, March 22.
