Georgia High School Soccer - Lowndes knocks off Lee County
February 8, 2024: Leesburg, GA 31763 Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA), 5-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Vikings confront the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Lowndes will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 league loss to Cairo (Cairo, GA).
The Trojans now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tift County for a challenge on Monday, February 12. Lee County will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-1.
