Ohio High School Basketball - Canfield triumphant over Boardman
February 8, 2025: Canfield, OH 44406 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) and the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), observed Canfield's basketball team overwhelm Boardman by a margin of 72-47.
The Cardinals (17-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Alliance (Alliance, OH). The Aviators come into the non-league challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Alliance trounced Marlington (Alliance, OH), 74-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) in a All-American challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Boardman will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 83-63 non-league loss to Washington (Massillon, OH).
