Oregon High School Basketball - South Albany nips Crescent Valley
February 8, 2025: Albany, OR 97321 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) and the visiting Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR), observed South Albany's basketball team edge Crescent Valley by a margin of 52-49.
The Redhawks (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against West Albany (Albany, OR). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Mid-Willamette challenge with a 13-6 record. In their last challenge, West Albany edged Silverton (Silverton, OR), 76-71, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the McKay Royal Scots (Salem, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Crescent Valley will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Royal Scots come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 67-53 league loss to Central (Independence, OR).
