New Mexico High School Basketball - Reserve knocks off Hondo Valley
February 8, 2025: Reserve, NM 87830 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM) and the visiting Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM), observed Reserve's basketball team overcome Hondo Valley by a margin of 62-52.
The Mountaineers (4-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Quemado (Quemado, NM). The Eagles come into the A District 2 challenge with a 11-11 record. In their last challenge, Quemado dropped by Cliff (Cliff, NM), 52-30, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM) in a A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Hondo Valley will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 71-60 non-league win over Quemado (Quemado, NM).
