February 8, 2025: Paxton, IL 60957 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers (Paxton, IL) and the visiting Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL), observed Paxton-Buckley-Loda's basketball team overwhelm Maroa-Forsyth by a margin of 60-35.
The Panthers (11-12) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Sabers come into the Illini Prairie challenge with a 10-16 record. In their last challenge, St. Thomas More trounced Illini Central (Mason City, IL), 55-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Williamsville Bullets (Williamsville, IL) in a Sangamo challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Maroa-Forsyth will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Bullets come into the challenge with a 23-2 record after their 55-52 non-league loss to Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL).
