The St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR) basketball edged the visiting Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR), 48-46 in Saturday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they host Banks for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. St. Helens will play a Braves team coming off a 52-32 league win over Riverdale (Portland, OR). The Braves record now stands at 22-3.
