In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Nicholas County Grizzlies basketball team scored a good 46-30 triumph over the Ripley Vikings.

The Grizzlies (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clay County (Clay, WV). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 0-16 record. In their last contest, Clay County was topped by Doddridge County (West Union, WV), 74-28, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 12. Ripley will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record.
