Missouri High School Basketball - Putnam County fells Scotland County
February 8, 2025: Unionville, MO 63565 The Putnam County Midgets basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Scotland County Tigers to 40 in the Midgets non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Midgets now have a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Putnam County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 57-50 league loss to Albany (Albany, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 18-3.
With the loss, Scotland County falls to 12-15 on the campaign. The Tigers host Knox County (Edina, MO) to confront the Eagles in a Lewis & Clark game on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 7-13. Knox County won 43-22 in their recent non-league game against Brashear (Brashear, MO)
