February 8, 2025: Dixon, KY 42409 Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Trinity Raiders (Whitesville, KY), 59-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Webster County upgrades its record to 8-12 on the year. The Trojans host Apollo (Owensboro, KY) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-17. Apollo lost 58-13 in their recent league match against Daviess County (Owensboro, KY)
The Raiders now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hancock County for a non-league match on Monday, February 10. Trinity will face a Hornets squad coming off a 54-40 non-league loss to McLean County (Calhoun, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 11-12.
