Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Manila Lions (Manila, AR) and the visiting Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR), saw Manila's basketball squad overcome Piggott by a tally of 61-43.

With the victory, Manila improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Osceola (Osceola, AR) to confront the Seminoles in a 3A Region 3 challenge on Friday, February 11. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a record of 18-4. Osceola won 80-55 in their recent league challenge against Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR)

Next up, the Mohawks confront the Harrisburg Hornets (Harrisburg, AR) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 14. Piggott will attempt to advance on its 4-12 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 4-19 record after their 60-28 league loss to Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR).
