Missouri High School Basketball - Battle edges Rock Bridge
February 9, 2023: Columbia, MO 65202 The Battle Spartans (Columbia, MO) basketball nipped the visiting Rock Bridge Bruins (Columbia, MO), 52-49 in Thursday's league test.
The Spartans (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Fatima (Westphalia, MO). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Fatima got by Mansfield (Mansfield, MO), 58-53, in a non-league test.
The Bruins now own a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to New Madrid County Central for a non-league test on Saturday, February 11. Rock Bridge will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 57-47 league win over Jackson (Jackson, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 15-7.
