West Virginia High School Basketball - South Harrison over Grafton
February 9, 2023: Lost Creek, WV 26385 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV) and the visiting Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV), saw South Harrison's basketball squad overcome Grafton by a tally of 73-62.
With the victory, South Harrison improves its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Roane County (Spencer, WV) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 13. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Roane County won 47-31 in their recent league challenge against Braxton County (Sutton, WV)
Next up, the Bearcats confront the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Grafton will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a 16-1 record after their 74-46 league win over Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV).
