New York High School Basketball - South Park nips McKinley
February 9, 2023: Buffalo, NY 14207 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the South Park Sparks (Buffalo, NY) and the host McKinley Macks (Buffalo, NY), saw South Park's basketball squad hold off McKinley by a tally of 59-54.
With the victory, South Park improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Sparks host International Prep at Grover (Buffalo, NY) to play the Presidents in a Section 6 Buffalo I challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Presidents come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. International Prep at Grover won 69-56 in their recent league challenge against East (Buffalo, NY)
Next up, the Macks play the East Panthers (Buffalo, NY) in a Section 6 Buffalo I challenge, on Saturday, February 11. McKinley will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 69-56 league loss to International Prep at Grover (Buffalo, NY).
