Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the North Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars (High Point, NC), saw North Charlotte's basketball squad hold off South Guilford HomeSchool by a tally of 68-63.

With the victory, North Charlotte improves its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Hawks in a North Carolina Home Education - West challenge on Friday, February 10. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-25. Forsyth Home Educators lost 86-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 16. South Guilford HomeSchool will attempt to improve on its 16-9 season record.
