The Lewis-Palmer Rangers basketball team (Monument, CO), was overwhelmed 59-35 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO)

The Lions now possess a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Air Academy for a 5A/4A Pikes Peak battle on Wednesday, February 15. Lutheran will confront a Kadets team coming off a 65-58 non-league loss to Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Kadets record now stands at 14-8.

The Rangers (6-16) will now prepare for their battle against Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO). The Thunder come into the 5A/4A Pikes Peak battle with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Discovery Canyon was overwhelmed by Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO), 59-34, in a league battle.
