Mississippi High School Basketball - Itawamba Agricultural knocked off by Amory
February 9, 2024: Fulton, MS 38843 The Amory Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Itawamba Agricultural Indians to 32 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Amory will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 55-47 non-league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-15.
The Indians (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 19-8 record. In their last contest, Caledonia ran past Louisville (Louisville, MS), 55-47, in a non-league contest.
