Vermont High School Basketball - Poultney nips Arlington Memorial
February 9, 2024: Arlington, VT 05250 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT) and the host Arlington Memorial Eagles (Arlington, VT), saw Poultney's basketball squad hold off Arlington Memorial by a count of 61-55.
With the victory, Poultney upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Granville (Granville, NY) to play the Golden Horde in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 12. The Golden Horde come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Granville won 63-54 in their recent league challenge against Lake George (Lake George, NY)
Next up, the Eagles play the Green Mountain Chieftains (Chester, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Arlington Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 56-55 league loss to Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT).
