Texas High School Basketball - Buffalo tops Elkhart
February 9, 2024: Buffalo, TX 75831 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX) and the visiting Elkhart Elks (Elkhart, TX), saw Buffalo's basketball squad knock off Elkhart by a tally of 55-40.
With the victory, Buffalo improves its record to 9-21 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Fairfield (Fairfield, TX) to play the Eagles in a 3A Region III District 20 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-19. Fairfield lost 75-62 in their recent league challenge against Teague (Teague, TX)
Next up, the Elks play the Groesbeck Goats (Groesbeck, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Elkhart will attempt to improve on its 10-23 season record. The Goats come into the challenge with a 4-21 record after their 86-41 league loss to Mexia (Mexia, TX).
