North Carolina High School Basketball - East Burke overwhelms Bunker Hill
February 9, 2024: Connelly Springs, NC 28612 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) and the visiting Bunker Hill Bears (Claremont, NC), saw East Burke's basketball squad wallop Bunker Hill by a tally of 77-55.
With the victory, East Burke improves its record to 5-16 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to play the Rebels in a 2A Catawba Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 3-19. West Lincoln lost 85-45 in their recent league challenge against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC)
Next up, the Bears play the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a 2A Catawba Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Bunker Hill will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 85-45 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
