Minnesota High School Basketball - Southwest Christian tipped by Delano
February 9, 2024: Delano, MN 55328 The Delano Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Southwest Christian Stars to 60 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mound-Westonka for a AAA Section 6 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Delano will meet a White Hawks team coming off a 87-86 non-league win over Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN). The White Hawks record now stands at 8-11.
The Stars (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Hopkins nudged Edina (Edina, MN), 69-59, in a league contest.
