South Dakota High School Basketball - Takini crushes Flandreau Indian
February 9, 2024: Howes, SD 57748 Takini Skyhawks (Howes, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Flandreau Indian Indians (Flandreau, SD), 90-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Takini upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Skyhawks host McIntosh (McIntosh, SD) to play the Tigers in a B Region 8 bout on Saturday, February 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-12. McIntosh lost 60-56 in their recent league bout against Bison (Bison, SD)
Next up, the Indians play the Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Flandreau Indian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 59-42 non-league win over Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD).
