Minnesota High School Basketball - Foley overwhelmed by Sauk Centre
February 9, 2024: Sauk Centre, MN 56378 The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Foley Falcons to 36 in the Mainstreeters league victory on Friday.
The Mainstreeters now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to B O L D for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. Sauk Centre will battle a Warriors team coming off a 67-62 non-league win over New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 14-8.
The Falcons (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN). The Thunder come into the non-league contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Zimmerman was routed by Becker (Becker, MN), 92-62, in a league contest.
