Virginia High School Basketball - Godwin tops Freeman
February 9, 2024: Richmond, VA 23233 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA), saw Godwin's basketball squad knock off Freeman by a tally of 61-45.
With the victory, Godwin improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hermitage (Richmond, VA) to play the Panthers in a Colonial challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Hermitage won 60-38 in their recent league challenge against J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA)
Next up, the Mavericks play the Thomas Jefferson Vikings (Richmond, VA) in a Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Freeman will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record.
